FAQ

What should I bring to class?

Students will need a yoga mat, towel and plenty of water. Comfortable, stretchy active wear clothing that does not constrict body movement is recommended.

What are the age requirements to take Power Vinyasa Yoga classes?

Due to the focus required to benefit from a yoga class, respectful behavior is required during class. Based on this, Radiant Yoga accepts students age 8 and up to attend classes.

Can pregnant women take Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Yes, pregnant women can practice Power Vinyasa, but you should consult with your health care provider before beginning any yoga practice. Please notify the teacher and assistants before class so they can help you modify the poses.

What is Far Infrared Heat? What is the room temperature?

Radiant Yoga uses far infrared heat, which provides a therapeutic, deep penetrating, detoxifying form of heat which expels toxins, heavy metals and pollutants from the body, providing significant benefits. The studio is kept at a temperature between 89 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Does Radiant Yoga offer childcare services?

Yes. Radiant Yoga students have access to onsite childcare available at the El Dorado Hills Sports Club. See our Childcare page for rates and reservations.

Can new students attend the All Levels class?

The All Levels class moves at a faster pace, and does not dive into detailed pose instruction. New students may attend any of our classes, however, but may need to modify some of the poses.

Should I arrive to class early?

When coming to class for the first time, students should plan on arriving 15 minutes early to give enough time to fill out the new student information form. Moving forward, it is recommended that students arrive at least 5 minutes early to check in and establish their space on the floor.
