Sound Healing – Sunday, 1/12 from 4:30-6:00 pm

Join us the second Sunday of every month for Sound Healing. Sound is not just perceived by our ears but by every cell in the body. The powerful vibrations of the gong and the sweet sound of each note of the crystal bowls will meditate you, clear meridians, open chanels and chakras releasing the flow of Kundalini energy to ascend up the central channel from the root chakra, balancing and aligning your system.
As you allow blocked emotions to loosen in this process and gently release that which no longer serves you into the sound, you activate your inherent ability to heal and awaken. Let the sound do the work as you release stress, deeply relax and come into balance.
Please register in advance and come hydrated and comfortably dressed. We recommend bringing a yoga mat, small pillow for your head and light blanket to support your experience.

29 Day Challenge – Ignite Your Soul – Starts in FEBRUARY!

Live your life as a radiant example of transformational change in 2020 by immersing yourself in the Radiant Yoga 29 Day Challenge. Challenge yourself to participate in your life with purpose, passion, and fire that radiates through everything you do. Engage in meditation, mindfulness, and a practice of self awareness gained through yoga and a deep connection to the community that surrounds you.

PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

  • 29 days of consecutive yoga practice in classes listed on the Radiant Yoga schedule (Basic, All Levels, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Nidra and Yin).
  • Sign up by January 31 to participate.
  • A brief information session will be held with Emily on Friday, January 31 at 7:30 pm at the studio.
  • If you miss one day of practice, you are able to make it up by taking two classes on another day within the month of February in order to reach the goal of 29 classes in 29 days.
  • Your name will be listed on a bulletin board at the studio. Next to your name will be 29 spaces. For each day that you practice, tell the front desk that you’re participating in the Challenge and they will give you a sticker to place next to your name. Radiant Yoga can also confirm your class attendance through our computer.
  • Keeping a journal to record your thoughts, feelings, and experiences during the 29 day challenge is encouraged and may help you develop a deeper understanding of self. Keeping a journal is not required to participate.
  • The 29 Day Yoga Challenge will ask you to set an intention for yourself during the challenge — what do you want to experience through this challenge? Your intention can be as simple as being open to new possibilities or as focused as removing specific limitations from your life!
  • It is encouraged to have a partner or yoga buddy to help stay motivated during the 29 Day Challenge, although it is not required to participate.
PROGRAM INCLUDES:
 
  • Brief informational Meeting on Friday, January 31st at 7:30 pm with Emily Robinson at the studio.
  • Weekly emails to help you explore your intention and own level of self awareness.
  • 29 days of consecutive yoga practice in classes listed on the Radiant Yoga Schedule (Basic, All Levels, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Nidra and Yin).
  • Closing meeting/Celebration on Saturday, February 29th at noon to discuss the journey intention.

Are you ready for a powerful year of manifestation? Be THE leading manifestor in your own life. This workshop introduces the fun and highly effective concept of a functional Vision Board, which is a collection of images and words that speak directly to what you seek to create in your life. A vision board is collage representing things you would like to attract to your life. Vision boards can focus on something specific, like career, love life, or goals for the year. Maybe a yoga pose you want to find strength in? Or, you can make a board that encompasses general life desires. This will be even more magical creating your vision board within your community. Trust the magic of creating the life you want with your community and friends at Radiant who already believe good things will come to you in 2020!

Christmas Eve Morning at Radiant Yoga

Please join us Christmas Eve morning for two very special holiday classes. All other classes are cancelled and we are closed on Christmas Day. The 5:45 am class on Thursday, December 26th is also cancelled.
8:15 – 9:30 am – Peaceful Holiday Slow Flow
 
Join Emily for a Peaceful Holiday Slow Flow on Christmas Eve. The holiday season can be busy for us all. Ironically the busyness often takes us away from our joy and peace. Come back to you in this class, finding your power, strength and ease in this class – created to allow you to find sparks of joy and peace as you continue your holidays. The flow will be slower to allow for more presence to the good in your life and the silver linings found in each day. Oh and a little extra yin at the end. This class is good for beginners if you want to bring visiting family and advanced practitioners alike.
 
10:00 – 11:15 am – Christmas Spirit Flow w/Blake Mason
 
The holidays are usually the busiest time of the year for most of us and our lives can end up being governed by our “to do” lists. We find ourselves running from one commitment to the next with little time for stillness, peace and presence. Join Blake for a balanced practice designed to recenter, restore and refuel you so that you can enjoy the holidays with true Christmas spirit!

Ashtanga Led Primary – Returns to schedule 11/8, noon – 1:30 pm!

Ashtanga Yoga is divided into six distinct series. In this, the Primary Series, we explore the grounding postures which will begin to purify the body, strengthen the core, dramatically increase mobility in the hips and knees, and open the shoulders and hamstrings. We will also learn how to breathe efficiently to generate internal heat and bring calm to our minds.

The Primary Series is framed by the familiar Sun Salutations, standing postures and twists, and a calming, restorative closing sequence. Hands-on assistance, adjustments and modifications are an integral part of Ashtanga, and no previous experience is required. Recommended for all students with a regular Power Vinyasa practice.

Deeply Rooted – A Holy Yoga Practice, Thursdays 7:30-8:30 pm

Deeply Rooted Holy Yoga is for everyone. Come meditate, breathe, worship and move through an abundantly grace-filled class.

Holy Yoga creates an environment to connect more intimately with God through a beautiful practice of breath and movement to contemporary and Christian music. There is often a misunderstanding that yoga is a religion, it is not. Yoga is a spiritual discipline, much like prayer, fasting and meditation. Yoga has the capacity to enhance our personal beliefs and faith.

Love without trust is impossible. If you break promises to yourself you will destroy your own trust. You must trust yourself before you can fully love anyone else.

Kundalini Yoga has taught me to trust my instincts, intuition and encouraged me to accept and know myself in a way that was previously unknown to me. Kundalini yoga offers endless tools to enhance this process. It will strengthen the heart chakra. It will build courage and resilience. It will wake you up. It has been said that a student cannot remain the same when they practice Kundalini Yoga. It will awaken the energy of consciousness, shed light on our self-imposed limitations and invites us to trust our intuitive mind. Kundalini will create dramatic, lasting changes in your life very quickly.

  • Learn the history, purpose, benefits and origins of Kundalini Yoga
  • Experience a kriya (a specific set of exercises with particular breath work in a particular order to achieve a specific outcome)

Yin & Yoga Nidra – December 15th 11:45-1:00 pm

Join us on the third Sunday of every month for Yin & Yoga Nidra. Class will start with 45 minutes of Yin to access and open the deep layers of connective tissue in the body.This practice emphasizes stillness and silence, allowing for a meditative experience that will reduce anxiety, tension and stress. The last 30 minutes of class will be spent in yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra) which isthe perfect antidote to the chronic stress or pressure many of us experience in our daily lives. You will be guided through layers of consciousness and connection while being offered something that seems more precious now than ever – space to relax. Please join us for a perfectly restorative afternoon!

Learn the basics of Power Vinyasa Yoga all in an afternoon!

In this workshop you will learn the alignment of the basic poses of the practice and discover how to connect your breath with your movements so you can begin to “flow”. This interactive workshop has Q&A and hands-on instructor demonstrations for a better understanding of each pose and modifications for the body. If you are brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner this workshop will take your practice to a whole new level.
